"$100 BILL" by Chicano EX Prisoner Artist FERNIE.  I met the incredible Fernie back in another of my Hoods called Deep Pleasant Grove. We met up and I asked him if he could come up with a filigree of sorts for a money type logo and he started drawing this cool $100 Bill on a scrap of paper I had in my car. It was literally a scrap of a scrap but he got down and started drawing it right out on the paper using the hood of my car as a table of sorts. It took him about ten minutes and he handed it to me and we rolled our different ways. I made sure and mixed this piece into the full wrap of my 1990 Firebird and was one of the many prison art car rolling murals which was demolished in a T-Bone by a runaway stolen car, driven by a 17 year old kid out here in Tucson. I chose that model because it had a huge flat hood that was a huge picture frame of sorts for the prison arts we chose to display it and allow even little kids to see it. Out here in Tucson, everyone who saw it was shocked to see the talent and the manner it was rolling around the Southwest with all the Cactus and Palm tree high desert land and mountain-scapes. That car was dedicated to rolling the streets representing Prison Artists and the culture of the many blends of lives represented by Bajito Onda.
